You Have a Purpose

You have a purpose.

Yes, you. Not just the person behind you or sitting next to you. They have a purpose, but so do you.

You have a purpose uniquely designed for you.

Do  you know you have a purpose? Do you believe it?

If you are reading this right now and are struggling to believe this, please hear me. You are wanted, and you are needed. You may feel like no one cares. You may feel all alone at this moment. Don’t quit living. Your life matters. You matter. You have a crucial role to fill. You have so much value to add into the lives of others. You are worth it.You live in this place and time for a reason. As it says in the Bible in Acts 17:26-28, “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ ” You are here for such a time as this. Don’t miss out on fulfilling your God-given purpose.

God created you one, because He loves you, and two, because He designed you to shine brightly and influence well in this world as only you can. You are “fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)” and you have been chosen (1 Peter 2:9).  These aren’t words for just a select few; they are for you and I, for each and every one of us.

Hear it. Read it. See it. Believe it. Hold on to the truth…you are you for a reason. You are here for a purpose. Don’t lose sight of the truth. Don’t ever believe that there’s no purpose to your life. You are valuable, and you are alive on this earth to live well, love much, and positively impact someone’s life.

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:9
